By joining the St. Clair Area Chamber of Commerce, you gain access to essential resources and opportunities designed to help your organization grow.
- Visibility: Get your name out to the community. We regularly receive inquiries from community residents, visitors, as well as residents throughout Franklin County. We always make our recommendations from our Chamber member list first.
- Information: We serve as the epicenter of information for our local organizations, gathering and passing along important information regarding events in our community as well as valuable resource information. Google searches of local businesses often result in a call to our office for answers to questions and contact information for local businesses.
- Access and Involvement: You can actively engage with the community and help sponsor chamber events including the following…
- Annual Foundation Scholarship Golf Tournament – This event raises thousands of dollars in funds awarded each year to high school graduates entering both conventional college studies as well as technical trade schools.
- Annual Celebrate St. Clair Banquet – This event recognizes individuals, organizations and businesses who have positively impacted the St. Clair community through their outstanding contributions and services.
- From time to time the Chamber plans special events that integrate with the business community that lend well to community engagement through participation and/or sponsorships. These events include Ladies Day Out, Boo & Book, and other special occasion promotional events.
- Community & Economic Development: The St. Clair Area Chamber of Commerce works in partnership with city officials to attract the types of businesses and industries that are needed in our community to increase the potential for local development.
- Training & Education: From time-to-time luncheons and after-hours events will be scheduled to offer training and education topics with a goal of providing your business with valuable tools and resources ranging from using the chamber member benefits program to the MEWA chamber insurance program. Special speakers are invited to participate in these events and bring various topics of interest pertaining to area businesses.
- Spotlight Your Business: Free advertising is provided as a part of your membership through the TV monitor at the Chamber of Commerce and License Office Lobby. Reach 135 TV monitors throughout Franklin County as your business is spotlighted through a continuous scroll on the screen and see by hundreds of people daily.
- Networking: Connect with local business owners and organizations at our quarterly business meetings. Enjoy special speakers, catch up with what’s happening with other businesses and organizations and share your successes and challenges with others community leaders.
- Advocacy: Your local membership reaches beyond your local chamber of commerce. Your membership in St. Clair Area Chamber of Commerce extends to the state level. Your local chamber is also a member of Missouri State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which means we as a local chamber are entitled to benefits on the state level. Our local businesses have advocates on the state level who represent our interests.
